MedCAC to Go Another Round on Research Priorities

Announcement today of a MedCAC Town Hall meeting on Medicare research priorities may be bringing CMS closer to a more systematic approach for filling what it views as Medicare's evidentiary gaps.  Coming on the heels of other recent CMS actions, the Town Hall, set for April, hints at the possibility of change in the agency's national coverage decisionmaking.
